A Letter to the Terrorists!

Dear Mr. Terrorist!

It gave me immense pride to see 10 of your brothers, probably just 25 years old or less, do what they did in the bustling city of Mumbai! So young! and yet so strong and motivated! And what passion! I must say, it is very rarely that one gets to se such passion in todays youth!
Im sorry to hear that you could not achieve your target of blowing up the Taj and of slaying 5000 people, unfortunately i think you did a mistake of underestimating the fact that we have outfits like the NSG and MARCOS also, other than just Mumbai Police to fight you guys!
I just have a few requests for you - and trust me, these will benefit us as well as you guys and your so called goals!

1. Next time when you plan something like this, please make sure that at least 90% of the people killed are Indian politicians and Beaurocrats - the rest 10% could be all the fat assed, pot bellied and corrupt police officers. Trust me, this will shake the world more than you killing say a 100 innocent people. Try it, say tomorrow you were to kill LK Advani, Mulayam Singh and Laloo Prasad together, you really dont know how shaken this country would be, if not the entire world.
When you kill innocents, it is news for just a few days, the investigations go on for decades, and in a few weeks everybody forgets what even happened - unfortunately, thats the way we are - but if you were to do as i told you above, it will be remembered for ages. (This applies more so if you were to kill say the prime minister)
How would this benefit us? Well, as Indians, we too are also sick of these old and dumb politicians, who take 5 minutes just to start speaking a speech (and five minutes interval after every sentence spoken). They do not realize that they have a job to do - for the people of the country, and not for themselves - and if we were to get rid of these old hags, we could get some fresh young blood into the political system (which hopefully unlike the latest breed of the Gandhis, would understand that THIS IS A JOB! - and not a PR mission) . This fresh blood would hopefully one day bomb the shit out of our so-called-neighbour (if you know what i mean), and that would be it. No war, no tension on the border, Nothing. And that would mean no reason for you to fight and kill anybody else, and also at the same time no need for young people like you to get killed!

2. I would recommend all of you go and attend proper Koran classes at a university or something (considering you guys can read or write as well as you can fire a weapon) - Because somehow i feel your understanding of Islam is very different from the rest of the world. Or better still, why dont you guys sit down with some of the prominent Islamic & Koran teachers and have a debate on what actually the Koran says. Because the regular public (i.e., the Non-Muslims) get quite confused - as they hear something else about Islam, but have been seeing something totally different. So, just end this debate once and for all.

It would be great Mr. Terrorist if you could take the above points into consideration!. It would really help your cause and ours too. And trust me, politicians in India are not that difficult to target - whenever you see a road being closed (because of a MLA or MP going through) - just look out for a contingent of ambassadors and contessas going thru that, and then all it would take is one or two rockets or missiles (which im sure you guys have enough of) - and considering you guys could so coolly figure out and manage the latest attacks at Taj and Oberois, im sure this would not be too difficult a task, logistically. And bam! - one idiot less for you and for us to think about!

So Mr. Terrorist, hope you get into some action soon, and relieve us of all this shit happening.

Warm Regards

A believer

PS: And while youre at it, just put one in your head as well - would give you a taste of what a lot of people went through recently.

Mumbai Burns - Gather votes.

Mumbai Burns... and i have been watching it burn for more than 50 hours now. Taj & Oberois - two hotels ive always wanted to work for - and i had a lot of friends that work there - and yes, quite a few of them are dead.
And you cant really imagine how disturbed i am.
And what pisses me - listening to our f&^%ing politicians - the encounter is still on - people are still dying - bullets are still flying - and the bloody idiots, who dont even have the bloody brains or energy to move their fat asses, are blaming each other. LK Advani is telling people that when BJP was in rule, they controlled all terrorist attacks. Manmohan Singh sits like a bloody dumb ass on national TV and speaks some bloody irrevelent bullshit.
WAKE UP u idiots... innocent are dead... stop fucking thinking about votes right now!

And you know whos to blame?
Its all of us. The way we are brought up. The kind of values that we inherit. We the Indians. We, who believe in non-violence. We who believe in secularism. We, who will still wake up tomorrow morning, and go to work, as if everything is normal, even if we are in mumbai.
Rewind 9/11 - what does Bush do?? Bomb al qaida until they shit in their pants. 26/11 - what does India do? Blame each other... make use of the situation to pull votes.
Pakistan is to blame? - Then bloody move your ass and do something about it.

And that brings me to Mr. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. The person because of whom we still are fighting - and his bloody doctrines which we still follow - if you get hit on one cheek, put the other one forward. Unfortunately Mr. Singh and Mr. Advani, times have changed. If they hit you, and you dont hit them back, they will bloody laugh at your face and slap you again. They have no remorse.

Funny situation right? Somebody slaps two people on the face, and instead of slapping him back, or getting together and kicking him in the but, the two people start fighting on whos fault it was that they got slapped - thats exactly whats happening.

Im sitting in Dubai, i have lost some very good friends - and it really hurts seeing the way this entire issue is being turned political. Is this really what the people of India want to hear?

And you know what else is to blame - Secularism. Our bloody government should understand that you can never, ever satisfy every person/community/religion/group. And this should have been understood during the partition itself. But our beliefs are so bloody strong, that we chose to ignore everything around us.

No offences meant here - i have nothing against Islam or Moslems. But fact is, two communities, with inherent differences can never live in peace together - unless enforced to do so. Just compare to the UAE. This is a Muslim country - and it is not secular. 80% of the population is expats - a lot of whom are non-muslims. And everybody lives in peace. Why? Because you are enforced to do so. It is very clear to you that this is a muslim country, and if you live here, you better follow what is right for them. You live by their rules. And you can not dare to break them.
Its the bloody secularism that is killing us.

And i couldnt stop shaking my head when i read the so called email sent by the terrorists. "Muslims are targetted in India". You know what dudes - weve had a muslim prime minister. A muslim president. A muslim chief of staff. And no where in the Qoran does it say that you are "targetted" in any which way, you should retaliate by killing innocent people.

Actually, these assholes have no religion. They use religion only as a basis to create communal tension. No religion talks of killing innocents. And yeah - you want to improve the condition of Muslims in India?? Then bloody stop using your brains and money on guns and planning terrorist missions - get educated - do something worthwhile - invent something new - create a better life for upcoming generations.

And on the last note.
Kaizad, we will miss you. May your soul rest in peace.

PS : sorry if i sound confused / pissed of / upset / disturbed. But i am. This is shit happening. And no body with the power to do something about it is doing anything.

Some Floyd Lyrics

Some Pink Floyd Lyrics that have really been inspiring/hitting/moving me these days... Just dont know how these guys write down about life in such simple words, and portrayed it so beautifully. Taken from the album "The Wall"

Day after day, love turns grey
Like the skin of a dying man.
Night after night, we pretend its all right
But I have grown older and
You have grown colder and
Nothing is very much fun any more.
And I can feel one of my turns coming on.
I feel cold as a razor blade,
Tight as a tourniquet,
Dry as a funeral drum.

Run to the bedroom, In the suitcase on the left
You'll find my favorite axe.
Don't look so frightened
This is just a passing phase,One of my bad days.

Would you like to watch T.V.?
Or get between the sheets?
Or contemplate the silent freeway?
Would you like something to eat?
Would you like to learn to fly?
Would'ya?
Would you like to see me try?
Would you like to call the cops?
Do you think it's time I stopped?
Why are you running away?

And Heres another one -
I don't need no arms around me
And I dont need no drugs to calm me.
I have seen the writing on the wall.
Don't think I need anything at all.
No! Don't think I'll need anything at all.
All in all it was all just bricks in the wall.
All in all you were all just bricks in the wall.

Inspiring... totally
Floyd really does rock.

Insomnia

Lying in my bed
Thoughts going through my head
The TV flickers on the music sings along
Time passes slow
Is it me? Or is it my Insomnia?

The trafiic dosent stop outside
The air conditioner hums on
The street light pours in through the balcony
I can hear some music next door
What should i do? Lie here?
Or reach out?
Is it me? Or is it my Insomnia?

Its slow, so slow
But the learning goes on
slowly steadily
i learn to move on
In this state of zombiness
some sense prevails
But is that me? Or is it my Insomnia?
It is me.

Buddha on the Ledge

Moving into a new house is always such a frekin' pain in the you know where!!.. but i finally finished.. without even taking a day off work! Thanks to Mr. Dawood (the pathan guy who helped me move... not the underworld one) i managed to move all my cartons into my new place before i was literally put on the streets by my (now) previous house owners!
Unpacking generally takes more time... and took me around a week but yippeee doodle dee... today i finally finished setting the house up - after two trips to Ikea and numerous others to various wierd shops... just a little bit tweaking here and there is left, otherwise, the house looks livable -

And that brings us to the Buddha - have had this idol for almost 4 months - never quite had a proper place to put it in - but finally figured out that my kitchen ledge - connecting my kitchen to the living room happens to be the perfect place for it - and with my cool Ikea lamp focussing on it, it looks damn neat - and at peace finally!

So behold - here are the first few snaps of my new house - unfortunately, they are only of the buddha... but im sure you will get an idea of how the rest of the house looks - it just follows the same theme ---

PS: Sorry for not updating the Formula 1 Scene- it was the most awesome end to the season - but i really wanted massa to win the championship - and was literally very depressed to see him lose at the final turn. That is why, there is not going to be a congratulations post / condolence post for either hamilton or massa. All we can do is hope that next year the prancing horse dominates!

Can Hamilton Do it This Time?

Flashback F1 season 2007 : Brazilian Grand Prix, Hamilton leads Alonso in the Championship by 4 points, and leads Raikkonen by 7. Race starts, Hamilton loses positions like crazy, has a gearbox problem, moves down the order and finally finishes 7th. Kimi, on the other hand, barges ahead the lot, and clinches the title, finishing first by a mere 1 point.

Year 2008, and we have almost the same situation. Hamilton with a 7 point lead over second place man Massa. The Mclarens have been stronger this season just like last year. The only difference is, that this time it is Felipe chasing Hamilton, and not the Iceman.

So, will Hamilton be able to pull it off this year? Or will it be another setback... and Massa will take it from him again?? The brazilian track has always been a stronghold for the ferraris.. and the mclaren of Hamilton has had a perfect season.. with almost nothing going wrong.. so will the law of probability catch up with him again??

As for me - I would really like to see Massa win the Championship. He deserves it. As in, being overshadowed by Schumi for so many years, losing out to kimi last year... i think he really deserves it. Hamilton still needs to mature... just by the mistakes he made at the japanese GP, show that he still has a long way to go to be someone even close to Senna or Schumi.

Anyways... all we can do is wait.. and watch the Brazilian GP, and hope that the Brazilian clinches it at his home venue!!

New Blog, hopefully more Posts!

Yeehaa!!

So ive finally woken up in the blogosphere again... and started up fresh! So, there you have it, a new blog (and if you have not noticed it already, its called WYGIWYS), a new look, and (hopefully) some new material!!

I basically got totally bored of my old blog(s), on which there had been no new posts since zillions of years, and so, the delete button was really not difficult for me to find!

What all has happened since my last post - Michael Schumacher retired (now you know how many zillions of years i have been talking about), Roger Federer went into his slump (and came back again), i changed city.. and then my country of residence... became father to the cutest possible child...... man its been long.

But.. hopefully, WYSIWYG is not going to be so slow as the last one. Hopefully, i will be posting regularly... and hopefully i will have more people here...

So.. way to go WYSIWYG.. your first post is already done! and there are many more to come!!
